Born 23 March, 1994, Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, professionally and popularly known as Mayorkun is a Nigerian Singer (afrobeats musician), songwriter, comedian, accountant, pianist and entrepreneur.
His love for music and entertainment was birthed through inspiration from his mother, a Nollywood actress and his father, a movie producer.
He holds a degree from the University of Lagos and worked as a banker for some years before venturing into professional music.

His professional music career took off after he released a cover of Davido’s song titled The Money. Davido saw the masterpiece from Mayorkun and decided to sign him onto his record label, DMW.
