Tems Early Life
Temilade Openiyi was born on June 11 1995 in Lagos State Nigeria to a Nigeria mother and a British – Nigeria Father. Tems moved to the United Kingdom shortly after birth. Her parents got divorced when she was just five years of age, Tems relocated from United kingdom back to Nigeria with her mother. Tems attended Dowen College before proceeding to South Africa for her Tertiary education.

In 2018 Tems recorded her first song of her own composition tittled “Mr Rebel” and in August 2019, she released a single tittled “Try Me” which became a hit track. In 2020 She was recruited by American singer Khalid to join him and fellow Nigerian singer Davido on an Afrobeats remix of “Know Your Worth”.
